What Exactly is Smart Repair?


Smart stands for Small to Medium Area Repair Technology. Smart repairers use the same painting techniques as bodyshops but are specialists in keeping the repaired area as small as possible, and concealing the repair. This means we use a variety of technologies that a large bodyshop would not have available.

How do You Make Sure the Colour Match is Correct?


I use a computerised mixing scheme meaning the paint is mixed according to the manufacturers original recipe, so I can get a near perfect match every time!

What Paints Do You Use?


I use the same paint system as modern bodyshops, this means I use waterbased paints for the colour coat, followed by 2 or 3 coats of weatherproof lacquer, to leave a repair with the same lifespan and finish as a bodyshop repair.



How Long do Repairs Take?


Most repairs take around 3 and a half hours, If you need you car finished for a specific time then please let me know so I can make sure I am finished.
